I own a Roland RD-500 and the other day I hit a key very hard, so I broke something inside the keyboard. Now I can't press that key because it's hard as a rock.
What can I do? (I know I should go to a Roland delaer but I'd like to know if I can do something by my means).
Can I open my piano and see what is inside and try to fix it?
Thanks in advance!

If it is like the keyboard I have been working on you can take the keys off. Unplug the power and open up the case. Remove the strip that goes across the back of the keys. Push the key forward and lift up. In other words push the key by grabbing the end of it nearest you and push it forward and up. the keys have tabs on them that keep them in place. You may have broken the s[pring under the key or the tabs that hold the spring. You should be able to figure it out from there. Nake sure you have the keboard unplugged when you open the case to do any work.
