I like listening to them, I heard on at Organ Stop Pizza in Phoenix. It was very cool, i like pipes, pizza, and pop. Not old enough for beer yet, lol

I have done a little work with a co. that was astute on theater organ restoration...one of two organ builder's I worked a little for..Enjoy hearing the fine ones....but haven't heard many in person...Five altogether...
Best I heard personally was a Wurlitzer in Tower Theater in Upper Darby PA area...as a child...My uncle took me to see it, and it was one of the goads to pique my interest...I only found out later that the Tower organ was an important organ...and that made it the best to me...
I turned to piano as being more practical for my education...but also took organ on the side in college, and played for years in church...I did restore a 4 rk Moeller, expanding it to 9 ranks, and installed it in my house...years ago...wasn't room really so I sold it, making a profit on the deal..It was expanded with a 4 rk mix and a 4' wald flute...
My orig intent was to try for a theater organ rebuild, but I didn't have sufficient pressure...best I didn't, as I sold it to a church....
Still love the organ, but play piano in my own home...My majors were piano and vocal...
