I found that stoplist on Internet a while ago, and it seems that it would be the biggest organ in the world, but I can't find any information about it. Have you heard of it, and have more information about it?

http://www.albany.edu/piporg-l/hcknback.html

It has three 64' stops, and a stop on 200" pressure.

The organ you may be thinking of ism in New Jersey and was built by Midmer-Losh Organ builders! The organ has a reed pipe known as a euphiclede, and runs onn about 100 inches of wind on the water scale! The volumn of the pipe they claim has them power of 3 diesel air horns! The rank is not in use due to the building it is housed in and the damage that could take place if played! The organ is in the Atlantic City Auditoriun!

No, I already know about the Midmer-Losh in Atlantic City, I just have the stoplist and it would be about as big if not bigger than the Midmer-Losh!

If it is not the Midmer-Losh, maybe its the John Wannamacher organ in Philadelphia! It is said to be the largest theater organ on the planet! They may be refering to the bass diaphones in it!

The "Hackenback Organ" is an entirely fictional organ dreamt up by the late Stephen Bicknell; it is a tongue-in-cheek response to the giant instruments such as the ones at Atlantic City and the Wanamaker organ (as well as the designs of G.A. Audsley). smile
