As DT, and Dwain, and Rich and others have suggested - please make an appointment to give blood. They have said that there is a shortage in the supply in this country, and it is something that we can all do to help. Jodi

Jodi,

Acording to Canadian Blood Services, there is a ban on sending blood across the border. Blood banks here in Canada were inundated with doners last week after the attack, more than doubling the normal contributions. But according to a news article I saw this morning, none of it is going state side. Sorry.

Jamie

PS OOPS. I stand corrected. I just checked the website again, and it appears that Canadian Blood Services will assist the US Red Cross as soon as it is requested to do so. The original ban was due to the suspension of air travel. So Canadian members of the forum, roll up your sleeves and give the gift of life.
