This is a compilation of touching pictures. It's a wonderful tribute. It takes some time to download but believe me it's worth the wait. Warning, unless you have no heart, this will get to you... TRIBUTE (My thanks to Steve from New Horizon Piano Service for sending me this) [ October 15, 2001: Message edited by: PianoWorld ]

I loved the tribute, particularly after having been in Canadian airspace when the Sept. 11 attacks occurred. So, in an odd way, I felt bonded to the disaster. I had to return to Europe and was stuck longer than I wanted to be, but what got me through were the musicians. God love them. Wherever I found a piano or an organ, musicians sensed my need and opened up there hearts and homes/schools/churches. I played and grieved with the USA. This is my first time on your website and I thank you for this space to respond. Now, back home, music again gets me through the day as I yet deal with sadness.

Frank:
I sent this to my many friends around the world. Some people tend to forget quickly.
Lest we forget.
Ever.

I was in Manhattan last week at our companies headquarters. We now have extra security people and require a picture ID to get in. However much of the city is returning to "normal". It did seem a little less crowded and the people actually seemed a bit more friendly. New York is still a great city! I did get a poignant reminder though. As my train home was pulling out of Penn Station we passed about 100 police and fireman waiting for their train, a shift change from working at ground zero. Frank B.

That tribute is just as wonderful as it is sad. Thankyou for sharing it with us.
