We did this before the Democratic Convention -- estimated what level of bounce Mr. Kerry would get. It seems to me most of us, including myself, aimed too high.

So, what sort of bounce do you thnk Mr. Bush will get? I am guessing about the same level as Mr. Kerry got (2%-3%), if that much.

Considering the Republican platform calls for discrimination being written into the constitution, I'm hoping they'll fall flat on their faces.

I think it will depend from what height he is thrown.

Personally, I think he will get a bigger bounce than Kerry. At least I am hoping he will. I think the media will probably cover the President's convention more than the Democratic one because it's the convention of the the President of the United States. Just my opinion.

Which is nice, when you are leading in the polls, going into the convention.

Especially at this time of the year, when polls are starting to mean something...

2-3% and I'm sorry to say Bush is starting to gain strength from the most recent polling. I keep thinking and hoping that Kerry can pull it off but the last couple of weeks have not been good for him. The election may not be as close as people think.
