Does anyone have any experience with the Echo gas grass trimmers?. Any input on this subject is appreciated.

Steve, we had one that was problematic. It bacame hard to start after 1 or 2 seasons. This was a number of years ago, so things may be different now.

My son has used one for all of one season. So far, no problem!

But on a serious note, he's using a gas stabilizer together with making sure he ran all the gas out at the end of last season. The gas stabilizer helps prevent gasket rot which often causes problems in such tools (snow blowers, etc.)

kathyk, maybe we need a little levity right now. That is why I posted my question which just so happens to be important to me right now. Where else am I going to get an answer to a question such as this from people I know and trust?.
