the Washington State Drivers written test!!! I was told by the man at the counter that this happens quite frequently to the "older" people that come in to take the test. I won't tell you the nice things I was thinking about him at that moment. (plus, there was a big sign stating it was a crime to harass the state workers...) How many feet must your bicycle's headlight safely project? 200 ft, 300ft, 400 ft, or 500 ft? How many feet does the average low beam headlight project? 200 ft, 300 ft, 400 ft, or 500 ft? Well, back to studying - I can take the test AGAIN in 2 hours. Wish me luck. Jodi

Here was a question from the North Carolina written Driver's Test that I couldn't answer: Within how many feet should you turn on your turning signal before making your turn? Choices were 100, 200, 500, 1000 ft.
I just used common sense, I don't estimate. Oh well! Some of the other questions I encountered sounded more like how to maintain your car properly questions and made me wonder what were they doing on the written exam.
Oh well!

The answer to my first question is 500ft, the second 400, and the answer to ChemicalGirl's is 100. See - I'm studying! What a waste of a Saturday. Jodi oh, and by the way, the bikes rear reflector must project 600 feet. Sigh.

When I took my Washington State Drivers Licence Test, I missed only one question, for an overall total of 24/25 correct answers. I thought that it would have been longer than just 25 questions but, oh well. I still don't have my licence though. I haven't driven in a couple of months (I do have my permit) but I have to start again so that I can go take my on road test with the guy from the DOL. Can't remember a single test question now!
