eek eek ......Ten thousand...... eek eek

I don’t know that I should be particularly proud of owning 10,000 posts, a sure indication of my peripheral obsession with any place, thing or person in any way remotedly connected with the piano. I am very much in love with many of the posters here and am extraordinarily grateful for the opportunity to participate in such a marvelous thing as this forum.

I congratulate Frank Baxter, whose very gentle guidance and reluctance to stifle the offerings of the posting public has created a medium of phenomenal possibility.

Here’s a poem smile

Piano Addiction

I know what it's like to be powerless
a slave to an instrument of pleasure
bonded by love with servitude
practiced slowly measure by measure
the strictest of rigid parameters
defining my moments of leisure
in a delightfully alluring and difficult
rousing relationship ever to treasure.

Some can tell you to go to heck in such a manner that you would think you might actually enjoy the trip, but that is far more polite than civil - JBryan

Apple, congrats!!
I've enjoyed each and every post of yours. If only the others could see your "behind the scenes" posts to me...then you'd be talkin'hall of fame status!

While one who sings with his tongue on fire
Gargles in the rat race choir
Bent out of shape from society's pliers
Cares not to come up any higher
But rather get you down in the hole
That he's in.
