I've just seen an infomercial on this guy and I seriously think he personifies the antichrist. Anyways, I think what he is selling is a total rip and totally bogus. He seriously believes that his tapes can solve all of life's problems. Has anybody here ever listened to any of his tapes?? What exactly is he preaching about?..because if you see the infomercial, his seminars looks like a religious revival, where everybody is jumping up and down, almost like they are tranced. Is it me, or is this guy and his movement pretty creepy.

NPR had a lengthy story about infomercials this weekend. Tony Robbins was one of the BIG WINNERS.

A lot of that hyped up oversold approach turns many people off, and quite justifiably. If you're curious, try a low-key approach and check out some books on NLP (neurolinguistic programming) from the library. You might find one written in a way that works for you. I found Bandler to be quite interesting.

First Jolly admits to listening to NPR (only he calls it NCR for "National Communist Radio" ) and now it turns out that Gryphon listens to NPR as well? Do the Dittoheads get angry when they learn you've been cheatin' on 'em?

Seems to me what you point out, is that they listen to NPR as well as the "dittohead" perspective, and then have their views, rather than someone like you (at least based on your comment above) that listen only to one side. Is that what you meant??

Can everyone say "PT Barnum?"
There are so many charlatans on TV -- lifestyle charlatans, political charlatans, pschological charlatans, religious charlatans, legal charlatans.
Robbins in no worse than any of the others -- and in some ways better.
