I didnt know what to make of that one. In one way, that would be brilliant, but remembering how the two of them got so heavily into it CONSTANTLY, with no one else even listening anymore, it would be downright psychotic. The more I examine it, the more impossible I think that would have been to pull off. (the pictures of the new estonia being delivered, for example) But if its true, I've never been more frightened. Edit: yeah, ok, joke confirmed. thank god.

[/b] Yes, folks, Jeffboy might be smart, but he isn't that clever. Those strictly material biomechanical processes that he calls "consciousness" have not evolved THAT far yet... TomK dropped me a line to tell me that CR was being binned. I quit cold turkey to go back to designing churches, planning a wedding in July to my beloved, and spending more time on the lovely ESTONIA that you all introduced me to... For those of you who might like to see what I do, and read some of my articles and publications on the questions of architecture, philosophy, and Catholic culture, you are welcome to visit my company website It's been a pleasure.

Thanks BigAl, Jay and KathyK! I've enjoyed the ride -- as much as I felt I had to bail for a while and get my priorities back in line. Sort of a curtain call, but I want to publicly recognize a number of great folk with whom -- politics and religion notwithstanding -- I would enjoy a great meal and a piano party: Kudos especially to JBryan, who always had the zingiest one liners. (And Improv -- you are tops in my book too -- thanks for all the laughs!) Kenny, who is a truly sensitive soul. Griff and Jolly and Dwain -- you're the kind of guys I want next to me in the trenches. -- U2 KB! Jeffboy-- who doesn't really get the Catholic thing because he doesn't buy the whole notion of spirituality -- I suspect that someday you'll find that the great gifts of love in your life are more than just mechanical processes and have meaning far beyond your own little universe of discourse . If I'm ever back in NY, I'd enjoy the MOMA with you! A lot of you guys and dolls are gems -- Nina, Plays, TomK (and your Lenten bi-locations), all the Team Dudes, CindySphinx, Apple (meum malum--the KC project died on me, but I hope the dinner invitation is always open!), Markjpcs, Ren, Quidam, PianoJerome, 89th, Jodi (who is perhaps the sweetest), MusicMagellan, NAK, Fizzy, JustMe... Thank you for enriching my life. Steve

Thumpy - "If I'm ever back in NY, I'd enjoy the MOMA with you!" Gladly. Nice company website, too. You might be shocked at this, but I did get a couple of the books you mentioned along the way. Thanks for the conversations. Best - Jeffrey
