Yes. When the clock runs out for those of us who have them, *we* all disappear. And our protagonist apple remains. The irony is that she being the only one without a clock, there is suddenly no one to talk to after 9 p.m. and she's left desolate to write melancholy verse for all eternity in "The Twilight Zone".
