That's a song that's been playing in my head throughout my entire marriage. I just love my wife and she deserves so much better. And for some reason I could never understand--she loves me.

Absolutely. Get the piano and your vocal down onto minidisc or DAT, whack it in the post to me and I'll stick down my vocals and anything else you want on the track-there's a nice accordian bit in the original if I remember rightly.
I don't know how you want to divvy up the verses but I think he sings them octaves apart so you take the low road and I'll take the high road as it were? Or we can mix and match-I don't mind but I'm thinking me singing the top one might be a bit comfortable and lack a bit of oomph.
