One of my favorite albums. Elena, on the chance that you might read this, have you and Laura ever played the Haydn Variations?

Soothes one's soul!

There is absolutely no piano on the entire album but I love it anyway!

The human voice and Mr. Scholl's in particular, is an amazing instrument.

How do you all get those CD covers into your posts? Do you actually photograph them?

No, don't click on the picture because it makes it REAL FREAKING BIG! Some people (not me) use dial-up.

Just copy down the location of the small picture.[/b] "Properties" is an easy way to do it.

Plays, I agree. Love the Haydn variations. Maybe Elena will listen to us if we gang up on her!

The monkey is my personal thread bumper. I picked him up from some site (I can't remember) and I thought it would be funny for him to bump threads.

Plays and JohnnyM,

No we haven't played it yet. Although it is a great piece, when we do get around to playing a big Brahms 2 piano work I want to start with the Sonata in F minor. It later became the famous piano quintet but as a two piano sonata it is simply amazing. It also had a previous life as a string quartet. All versions by the composer.

If we do play it, I'll be sure to let you know!!
