In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3

The lyrics follow. Some of you may insist that I must be kidding. Why indeed would I bother listening to a kid’s song? Why indeed.

"In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3"

A broad incision sits across the evening
The victim to our fathers lost war
The restless children sit and mourn the graves
Of those they've never seen before
Will they be buried here among the dead?
In the silent secret

[Chorus:]
The pioneers
In dealing with it they march for dawn, of Will and worthy
The truth be told the child was born
Man your own jackhammer
Man your battle stations
We'll have you dead pretty soon
And now

Sincerely written from my brother's blood machine
Man your battle stations
We'll have you home pretty soon
And now

Awake through motion with curiosity to curtain your first move
Over arms length they'll break protocol
Jealous envy for the youngest one
To be the hero is all I'll ask
Can I be buried here among the dead?
With room to honor me here in the end
You'll be better off too soon
You'll be better off when you get home

[Chorus]

For you,
I'd do anything just to make you happy, hear you tell me that you’re proud of me
For them,
I'll kill anything cut the throats of babies for them break their hearts for they were them
Waiting for you to say: I love you too

The navigator
The pilot
Her favorite
The one they call the vision that bears the gift
[x2]

Will,
Do the children really understand the things you did to them?
And why oh why…
Should they conjure up the will for you my love I would kill him
we're coming home pretty soon
Coming home

In the seventh turning hour
Will the victims shadow fall?
Should the irony grow hungry?
With the victory and all they sought for
We were one among the fence
One among the fence

[Guitar riffs and vocalizing]

We're coming home

Man your own jackhammer
Man your battle stations
We'll have you dead pretty soon
And now

Sincerely written from my brother's blood machine
Man your battle stations
We'll have you home pretty soon
Tonight

She forgets the words to "Mack the Knife" at the 2nd chorus, so she makes some up.

VK, do you listen to anything besides classical music? I don't mean that as an insult, I'm just curious.

Hey, the Los Lobos-type Christian group? I saw 'em on CMT or something while flipping through the channels. I like 'em.

Gryphon, where do you find your smaller images (I usually go to Amazon)?
From amazon, I just don't click on the large image, I grab the small one from the main CD page. Example:

As you can see they are both amazon.com images.

Yes, that'll resize the photo, but that completely ignores the purpose of using smaller images--speed of loading. Using your way the entire large image still has to be downloaded, then resized. There is zero savings in speed. Of course, how many people use modems hooked to their telephone lines any more? (I don't). Maybe I am living in the past and worrying about things that are no longer a factor.

Gryphon, just for you, I'm posting the SMALLER image:

[Linked Image]

Now, who can guess why this would tick me off? Yes, that's right, the cursing 17% off thing. It's blocking the title of the album AND the artist's name! That's been the primary reason I've ever posted the "larger" version.

So, who's the artist, and what's the name of the album? Larger picture, please....

Apologies accepted! :p

Ocasionally. I used to love Billy Joel. Maybe his piano stuff subconciously got me into piano. But I'm happy to listen to whatever anyone else is listening to as long as it's not country or rap/hiphop. You turn those on and I'm not a happy camper. wink Which is unfortunate because the bus I ride plays some very obscene hiphop stuff every day.

This just happens to be on the stereo in the next room... Nice stuff..

Now then my wine glass is empty, so it's time to scamper back to the party.

See (read) you all on the flip side.

Ju-ju-ju-ju-just like that bad guy
From Lethal Weapon 2
I've got diplomatic immunity, so Hammer, you can't sue
I can write graffiti, even jaywalk in the street
I can riot, loot, not give a hoot
and touch your sister's teat
Can't touch me

Man: What in God's name is he doing?
Cleveland: I believe that's the worm.

Stop! Peter-time!
I'm a big shot, there's no doubt
Light a fire and pee it out
Don't like it, kiss my rump
Just for a minute let's all do the Bump

Yeah do the Peter Griffin bump
Can't touch me

I'm Presidential Peter, interns think I'm hot
Don't care if you're handicapped, I'll still park in your spot
I've been around the world, from Hartford to Back Bay
It's Peter, go Peter, MC Peter, yo Peter, let's see Regis rap this way
Can't touch me

This is a cool thread and has influenced some of my purchases and, more to the point, connected me with Gryphon, Happy Trails fan--at least there are two of us---best album of the 60's (Beatles aside).
