Just wondering. I am on MSNBC. In the news paper earlier, I read that he was giving them 24 hours. Now, its says 48. He pushed it back a day.

I've never heard anything less than 48. You need more reliable news sources. Try FoxNews. laugh

The 24 hour deadline was for the UN. Of course, they blew it off.

I saw it. Bush seemed so serious. But he said a lot of things. Does anyone here favor the war?

Nuke 'em 'till they glow, and then shoot 'em in the dark!

Seriously, I watched the speech. I also watched the news conference at the UN on the Clinton News Network.

I think if Bush could get his hands on Chirac right now, "he'd stick it in him and break it off"(old Southern euphamism denoting extreme displeasure). eek

Was that a question, a statement of disbelief or what?

Yes, rape rooms.

We can't do anything now, so might as well support the war!

I'm going to play Devil's Advocate and ask you if you thought we could do anything in the first place.

The protestors sure thought they could do something in the way of swaying public opinion, or else they would not of shown up in such large numbers. Instead of complaining how this is such a bad idea, since the people as a majority really have minimal say in such matters, let's just support the cause. If you can't beat em, join em!
