It's time to reiterate the purpose of the forums...

We Are Here To HELP people.

I have been receiving a number of moderator alerts lately. It seems too many discussions are degenerating into arguments between members.

I created these forums as a means of bringing people together to help each other. They are not for your personal vendettas.

The Coffee Room is the ONLY place for discussions not related to the piano or music. And even here, I expect people to remain civil.

Lively discussions are one thing, name calling and rude behavior are another thing altogether.
I will no longer tolerate this behavior on our forums. If you want to be rude to each other, take it off the forums, or feel free to use the chat rooms or private messages.

As my father always used to say:
"If you can't say something nice about somebody, just don't say anything"

I don't want to have to make the forums moderated, nor do I want to have to ban members.
Can we please get back to the spirit of why these forums were created in the first place?
