I will be leaving CT and moving to FL this Sunday.

This is a big move for me, and unfortunately I'm making it alone.

I expect to arrive in Pompano Beach, FL (near Fort Lauderdale) sometime Tuesday (or Wednesday if I'm too tired of driving).

I'm hoping to start a new life down there.

So, if you're in that area and would like to get together (no, I'm not looking for a date, thanks), please let me know.

I'm also hoping to pick up some tuning business, so keep me in mind. (and, I do Ecommerce/Internet Marketing/SEO consulting, so keep that in mind too).

I'm transfering the Piano World phone number to a cell phone, so you will be able to reach me that way, or via email.

In the meantime, I'm going to be off the air from Sunday morning until I get set up in FL.

So, moderators, please keep an eye on the kids, and kids ... behave yourselves!

Best,

Frank B.

Wow, good luck with the move, Frank! I don't envy you all the packing and unpacking. eek

....but I'm sure that sometime in February when it's 75 in Florida and 5 degrees in CT you'll realize it was worth it. laugh

Frank, best wishes!

Doors open in opportunity when we least expect it. May you find everything you need in your new chosen area. The scenery alone should be pleasurable. But, do stay tuned to the weather reports!

Take good care!

Good luck, Frank. I moved from back East to California more than 20 years ago, and can't imagine living back in the cold and humidity. I've also lived in Florida. There's no question, you'll really enjoy it not being in the cold during the Winter.

I hope this doesn't mean that we will be missing you at all the New England/NY parties! Who will play all the rock and roll?

NE has always been a destination for visitors - and 'now' you'll have to become one...

Be safe traveling and enjoy your new turf...

BTW, did you pack an umbrella?

Anyways, hope everything works out for you! And I'd say, moving to sunny Florida, can't be all that bad!

All the best! Sincerely!

Ah, a road trip. Time for some great solitude, maybe some favorite music in the cd player, the adventure of the open road. . .

Have a great time on the road, and enjoy that new life -

Best of luck with the move, Frank! I'm sure you'll love it. Just don't be a complete stranger to New England, 'k?

Hey Frank,

Welcome to sunny South Florida. smile

Please give us a call when you get settled in a bit. Love to see you again. Our remodeling has finally been completed since you were last here. We hope you know that you are perpetually invited to come to our home anytime you feel like it. Maybe we'll even get the piano tuned just for you, or better yet, hire you to tune it for us. smile

We should be able to help you to pick up some tuning business, and possibly some Ecommerce/Internet Marketing/SEO consulting work as well. We'll introduce you to some of our South Florida music business friends as a starter.

Please say Hi to your sister Barbara and her husband for us, and it goes without saying, they are always welcome to come visit too anytime they can. smile

We're looking forward to spending some fun times with you.

Warmest regards,

Barry and Anita

P.S. I'll buy lunch. There are several neat ocean side restaurants, right down the beach from our home, that we think you would enjoy.

Bear cool

All the best with the move and your new life in Florida Frank. I'm sure, come January, I will be envying you along with all the rest of us northerners.

Buy some good stock and hold it till it goes up, then sell it. If it don't go up, don't buy it.

I used to love Connecticut
in sunny summer visits, but
I can imagine winters, though,
with ice and sleet and lots of snow.
In Florida I had a ball
with sun and beaches, big and small.
Orlando, Keys, Miami Beach
were favorites. To me they each
were paradises full of life
(And I was young and had no wife!)
So take your stuff and move down south
and soon by way of "word of mouth"
the world will know you have arrived.
And you will soon feel all revived.
Best of luck from ChatNoir,
Des bonnes journees, et bons soirs.

(PS: Work is still really, really slow....!)
