This is driving me crazy. It's like playing Name That Tune but I'm trying to name the artist without googling. Who did you say performed Sky Pilot? For some unknown reason I love that song.

I've been playing Can't Find My Way Home (1969). A friend gave me the sheet music and now I'm looking for more. I was hoping you would have some suggestions. I love it.

How did I forget you? Do you mean the question? Best PM me. I've been so tired and overwhelmed the past couple of days. The Coffee Room is nice and lighthearted. (I don't really need to think too much). Plus I'm bummed I'm going to miss the party. I missed the last one remember?

What a great song! Certainly on my all time favorite list along with another I neglected to mention: Little Wing.

Someone, I think Allison Kraus, has a great cover of Can't Find My Way Home.

Off topic: Going to see the Thunderbirds at MacDill this weekend. Will think of you. Do you ever fly down here? We're not far (about 10 minutes) from Punta Gorda. You can come over and try out the Sohmer. It's no match for your BB though.

Once during a bluegrass jam our crazy banjo player suddenly starting ripping into that tune. A full blown jam circle developed around it. I later tabbed it out for Dobro and sometimes use it as a medley filler on open stages.
