Can someone articulate why Nader is concentrating his campaign in the "swing" states? Is he trying to get elected or is he trying to be a spoiler?

I don't quite get it....

I suppose he is putting pressure on Kerry to come around to his point of view on various issues...

I just wish he would go away and allow the next President to take office with a majority of the votes.

jf, wishing that Pat Buchanan was also running.

Ralph is an American institution just like mom, apple pie and the flag. He's a great man and while I personally don't agree with a word he says, I will defend his right to say anything he wants--including the words, "I am running for President of the United States."

Run Ralph, run--you can win! laugh

I'm thankful that he is running, Jack. I can vote without having to take a shower afterwards. Mr. Nader's own words on the subject appear on his website, votenader.org, but I'm sure you've been there if you really want an answer to your question.

Kerry has neutralized Ralph pretty well. He draws 1 percent in the polls. The ballot fights worked, as they sapped Mr. Nader of momentum and funds.

I haven't heard word one from Nader on the issues.

Ralph can run. Heck, the Republicans are helping him run!

Sadly for Ralph, the electorate is way too polarized for either side to have defections to Ralph this time around.
