We are told that Muslims are really tolerant and kind, that only some of them are fanatics. I guess this shows just how "tolerant and kind" they really are:

Muslim slits daughter\'s throat because she was dating a Christian boy

From this time last month, but still worth reading for comparison's sake. The CNN link is unfortunately defunct:

PLATTSMOUTH, Nebraska (AP) -- The Christian father of a 4-year-old boy missing since January was charged with first-degree murder Friday. Prosecutors said they would seek the death penalty if 25-year-old Ivan Henk is convicted of killing Brendan Gonzalez, who disappeared January 6. The child's body hasn't been found, but during an April 29 court hearing on unrelated charges, Henk shouted: "The reason I killed Brendan is that he was the anti-Christ. He had 666 on his forehead." He then led authorities to a trash bin in the nearby town of Bellevue where he said he had dumped Brendan's body. Inside the bin was dried blood that matched the boy's DNA. Searchers spent seven weeks going through a landfill where the bin had been emptied but found no sign of the child. The boy's mother, Rebecca Gonzalez, has said Brendan was playing with his father outside her home in Plattsmouth, about 20 miles south of Omaha, the morning he disappeared. When Henk returned about an hour later, the boy wasn't with him, she said. After an argument, he drove off but was caught after leading police on a high-speed chase. Henk has been in custody since then and is serving a one-year jail sentence for obstructing a police officer and willful reckless driving in a case not related to Brendan's disappearance. He is to be arraigned on the murder charge Tuesday. Gonzalez said she was happy about the murder charge and potential death sentence: "He deserves it," she said.

I am not sure it has to do with being a moslim as much as it has with civilization.

Human rights are a very recent thing.

Thing of the coloured people who had a relationship with a white woman (or the opposite) in the South of the US thirty years age.
And this was the US, the model of democracy.

The Kurds, Afghans, Saudis,Iraqi.. have been living in a tribal mode for centuries.

Will they change ?

Thanks to the action of the courts of law, I suppose they'll have to accept the customs of the countries they choose to live in.

Will they change in their countries ?

If Human rights become the rule and are enforced by a supranational organisation.

Not the UN of course. We all know what you think of the UN.

Was not Tim McVeigh a Christian fundamentalist?
