I pay an extra $5 per month on my Sprint phone for no extra roaming charges (as long as some percentage of my calls are on the Sprint PCS network). There's only 1 place in San Diego that I have to use the analog side and that's in a short cut I take to work which pretty much takes me through the middle of nowhere.

# Voicemail And just yesterday when I signed up for Sprint PCS, I picked the $40/mo. plan but today when posting on to the Spring website, I subsequently changed to the $35/mo. by scrapping the roaming charge bit.

I just use a prepaid minute plan through TracFone. Only pay for the minutes you use. I wouldn't have a cell phone at all except for the fact that I just got tired of needing a phone when one wasn't avalible to me. I hate talking on the phone.
