Hi Chris, That's Debby, who was my best friend at the time. She was soooooo beautiful and the cause of many bouts of personal insecurity (as teens are wont to have. I haven't seen her in over 25 years  but I did talk to her on the phone about 10 years ago. She was living in Ft. Myers Fla. then. My favorite picture of her:

Debby was much more outgoing than I was, so she naturally attracted a lot more attention and was easier to get to know. She "stole" two boys away from me within a short time period. When that happens, girls start looking at themselves very critically, trying to correct whatever "faults" they think they have. Tom's comment above is a perfect example of something that would cause a teenaged girl to have a bout of insecurity. Thank God those days are long over. And thank you all for your kind comments.

[/b] I guess I behaved like a teenage girl my whole single life, I never shook the insecurities I had as a kid towards the oposite sex. Thank goodness I've been married 15 years !

This thread is a bit long in the tooth, but I'll try my hand at posting a photo.  I am one of five brothers (no sisers). Here we are in 1990 doing Schwarzenegger impressions. I am the second from left. I am the youngest, and if I was on the far left we'd all be in order. If this works I'll post some other photos.

Well, shut my mouth! It worked. As promised (or threatened):  Here we are in 1986, comparing leg hair. I am fresh out of college that year.  This is a year later on a camping trip.  This is in 1990 again - back when I was much more thin.

And finally, as long as we are putting in some old photos, here are my maternal grandparents when young.  I was always struck by the beauty of this photo.  Now, I always think when I see these two photos together, "How did he get her?" Must have been his sense of humor and charm. Thanks all for the photos!

Actually, Kincaid, I was going to (if I could ever figure out how) post one of my sisters and I at the beach in the 60s.
You're grandmother is indeed beautiful. It seems she's just as pretty on the inside too.

It was a bit of a chore to get them all posted, but following the directions was straightforward, except I didn't know I needed to be patient and wait for my email to give me the URL. I'd click on "submit" and it would take me to this screen that had a search but my name wasn't there. Finally the email came back and I understood what to do.
If my wife looks happy it might be because she knows her husband is finally being a better man and husband!
