This custom search works much better than the built in one and allows searching older posts.

Interesting new avatar. Does this mean you may change the logo on the site?
I'm sort of partial to the old one because of the colors (B&W, of course) and the keys.

[/b] Hi Piano*Dad, It's actually an old logo created by an artist/musician I worked with in my McGraw-Hill Publishing days. At the time an 32k image file was considered too big for a Web page (pre-YouTube days). I'm going to keep our B&W logo the way it is (it prints better), but thought I'd use the old logo as an avatar.
