Wow!

edit: Oh! I tried to write you a poem yesterday. I sat down with paper and ink while the STBXX watched the Masters. I did TRY! But, alas, I couldn't get passed roses are red, violets are blue. But, I did try!

I'm missing Nak
boo hoo hoo hoo

I wanted to bring your new piano into the poem but had trouble. How is the new piano doing? Still bright? Did you try closing the lid?

Very good, Nak, you really do have an excellent talent at this.

(I was hoping the story would turn out better for the proemtagonist, but that just can't be helped I guess. smile )

Do you mind me asking a question that you shouldn't feel obliged to answer?

I was curious about how long it took you to write the poem, from first idea to last polish.

Also if the poetry construction sometimes took priority over the story being told, i.e. did they words that "fit" affect the direction of the poem from that point on?

Great stuff,
Bob

It took the WHOLE TWO HOURS?!?
I'm kidding of course. Most people couldn't do that in two days, or two weeks.

I think you should strive to be able "to give an educated answer" in say 6 years or so. In other words plan to go to college in a line of study that supports your language skills, which though they may seem "just normal" to you, are in reality quite a bit higher than that.

The length of this poem, and its subject matter might not make it "go" in a song, but some of the shorter things you have posted had a very natural pulse to them and could easily fit as lyrics.

I also don't think your vocabulary is "small", unless the word has a different meaning in Canada. ( i.e. I can't see it on your avatar, can I? eek )
