Do you have a pop, rock, or 'other' song that just SPEAKS to you...like your theme song or something that sums you up? It's hard to pick just one, but 'Teach Your Children' just came on the radio and I realized how much I love that song and how it has touched so many different parts of my life...teacher...parent...60's rock n roller....

What is your song?

I have so many depending on mood and weather, but a couple favorites are:

Nothing But Flowers by the Talking Heads

Everything in it's Right Place by Radiohead

YYZ by Rush

That is my favorite TH song...obscure and late in their career, but I love it. I can't tell you how long i spent on the guitar figuring out all the chords.

KB...no fair...ONE song...it's easy to pick a bunch 'depending on my mood'.....

Then it's Nothing But Flowers ... that song means a lot to me... more than any other that I can think of right off the top of my head.

There is NOTHING like (for me anyway) listening to that song while driving through the mountains on a summer day.

Well, I'd always thought "Bridge Over Troubled Water" -- but the first time I listened to Sting sing "Fields of Gold" I burst into tears...so I don't know anymore. It's one of those two.

First time I heard 'Father and Daughter' by Paul Simon I had to wipe the tears away to stay on the road. That would have been my second choice.

Songs with a message:

"Had to say I Love You in a Song" - Jim Croce

"Painted Ladies" - Ian Thomas

Songs with a never get old infectious feel good hook.

"Listen to the Music" - the Doobies

"Down on the Corner" - CCR

Songs I can't help but sing along to when I hear them on the radio:

"Black Water" - The Doobies

"IS she Really Goin' out with Him?" - Joe Jackson

I really liked "Sky Pilot" but can't remember who did it. Does anybody remember?
