A lot of us have screen names that reveal our real first names, but a lot of us don't. Anyone feel like guessing the first names of CR members? If people are struggling, give them a hint. If you already know from off-list communication, don't spoil the secret.

I'll go first. Does anyone think they can guess my given name?

Cindy -- feeling like she can definitely guess correctly for Bernard, Kenny, Nina, Jodi, Larry, Matt and Jolly smile

I'll better the requirements by naming first and last names: Brendan= Brendan Kinsella; Thracozaag= Koji Attwood.

I'm quite cheap...

Is this the coffee room, btw? If so, no one here actually listens to me so chances are I won't get a reply to this but...take a guess at my name! I think only 2 people on the 3 forums which I visit know it...

Let's see, Cindy. I have no idea. Sophia? Does it start with a letter in the first half of the alphabet, or the last?

Jodi isn't my first name. It's not even my middle name. It's a nickname...

Cindy, my guess for you is Susan. (I'd previously assumed your name was "Cindy").

Goldberg: Matthew?

Jodi: Joanne?

You can find my first name in some of my posts.

Hmmm, let me get my psych(ot)ic powers going here.... I am sensing that someone here is named Kathleen.

Oh, and a hint.... Matt is not my given name.

Hmm, no, but somewhat close...well, not really. It doesn't start with an M and it's only 4 letters long.

Ballyhoo...I'm embarrassed to say, I'm not sure of your gender, but my guess is male. If so, your name is either John or Fred; if female, it's Sally or Kirsten! (...)

Right.

KlavierBauer, believe it or not, your name is......Joseph!

Goldberg: John?

Yes, I'm male. I sort of regret my choice of username now; I think it's a bit silly. I'm not John or Fred.

Oh, wow. What chaos we have already!

OK, here's a hint. My given name starts with a "C."

Goldberg, I'll play the odds and guess that you are really "Michael."

Jodi, I'm thinking, is "Joy."

Matt, I'm stubborn, so I'll stick with "Matthew."

KB, you're "Chris," right? smile

Ballyhoo, I didn't want to go search and find your name -- where's the fun in that? -- so . . . what's a good name for an Australian dude? I'll go with "Ian."

What do I win? smile

Cindy -- who would love to be named "Sophia" because it is so mysterious

I'm not Ian, but you're not far from the mark.

[edit -- no, not Christine]

OK, another hint.

My first name starts with a "C" and has three syllables. It has seven letters.

Ballyhoo, this is *hard!* I'm trying to come up with more common Aussie names, and I can't get past "Kangaroo Jack." wink

Um, Isaac?

Nope, Cindy (oh, and we all really know your name is...Caroline), though Michael is oddly closer than Matthew. Remember my rules: 4 letters, does NOT begin with an M...or a J, for that matter, Ballyhoo (aka David).

Nope, nope...Rube? That's...a little strange...but kind of cool in its own way I guess.

Boy, I've really thrown you guys, huh?

OK, my first name ends in an "A."

Ballyhoo, ya gotta help me out here! I need a hint, badly!

Goldberg, I will guess "Bill." Bill Goldberg. If that's not your name, well then gosh darnit, it should be.

Ballyhoo, did you catch my second guess? I cast a vote for David.
