You would need to find out which is the serial number of the piano. I have no idea which one it is. 16872 would be 1906 and 34451 would be 1917. An expert might know which is the real serial number.

Sometimes, on older uprights, the serial number is stenciled on the back of the piano.

The selling price of a used piano depends almost entirely on its condition. Age and cabinet style are also secondary considerations. Since there are so many thousands of used, older uprights looking for homes, your piano may not have much market value, so I wouldn't get my hopes up that there'll be much interest in your piano.
The best way to determine how much you can sell it for would be to call a piano tuner/technician and pay him to look at the piano to determine its condition, its potential and its market value in your area.
Regards,

Jurgen,
Does your car come with a full tank of gas? It makes a difference in my guesstimate. :p

Sorry to be so blunt about it, my post was intended with humor. What I am saying is clear: How can we three guys on the West Coast know what condition your piano in Toronto is in? You need to have someone look at it to be able to tell you. Another way of answering the question of how much you can sell the (as yet) undated Mason & Risch for would be to say: anywhere between $0.00 and $2,000.00. It depends on the condition of the instrument May we all smile again now?
