Paul Lustig Dunkel, Music Director and Conductor of the Westchester Philharmonic has announced the 2005-06 season of concerts. Almost All Amadeus, a season celebrating Mozart’s 250th birthday, will feature works by, or inspired by, the legendary composer in each of the five concert weekends.



The Philharmonic’s season opens in September as follows:



Saturday, September 24 – 8 pm

Pre-concert performance at 6:45pm

Sunday, September 25 – 3 pm

Pre-concert discussion at 1:45 pm

Exploring the folk music of legendary composers’ eras – music from the streets and pubs – and the great compositions that music inspired.



Program: Mozart, Incidental Music

Bartok, Piano Concerto No. 1

Rimsky-Korsakov, Scheherazade, Op. 35

Mozart-by-Request – The People’s Choice selected by the audience



All concerts take place in The Concert Hall at The Performing Arts Center at Purchase College, 735 Anderson Hill Road, Purchase, New York.
