A Most Creative and Challenging Opportunity for Piano Teachers

For piano teachers who are keen to refine their keyboard skill and to become active as performers, the 2006 PianoTexas International Academy & Festival has created a most unusual and innovative program by offering master classes, private lessons and recitals solely for piano teachers. The program is further enriched by various presentations, teaching demonstrations, artist recitals, and concerto concerts. This year, our special featured guests include Seymour Bernstein, Jeffrey Siegel and Christopher O’Riley. The Teachers Program also welcomes observers as non-active participants. To add to the variety, all participants are encouraged to attend other master classes and recitals by superbly talented young artists. This is a program that will leave you totally energized and inspired.

Application Deadlines: Performers – March 6 Observers – May 15.

“The total experience is what I really enjoy about the festival – the chance to study and perform…attend lectures and master classes, listen to recitals and perhaps most importantly, the chance to connect with other similarly enthusiastic teachers.”

Lisa Raposa – Faculty, University of New Hampshire
