Brief history and good explanation of the parts of a piano and what they do(from answers.com)... http://www.answers.com/piano Scroll down through the entire page, a lot of information here. By the way, I noticed they mention (in the external links section)... The Frederick's Historical Collection, a Del Fandrich article, and the Piano Society, but not PianoWorld.com. Hmmmnn, what's with that?
