Way too many times during the day... Let's say enough for my boss to make comments!

I'm a stay-at-home mom so to give myself mini-breaks from a life of kids and housework and talk about something intellectual, I just look up a few posts at a time throughout the day. It has kept my brain from turning to mush. Sometimes I look up one forum, read and reply to new things then later in the day look up another forum. It's short intervals throughout the day but occasionally I sit too long. It used to be a little more "addictive" to me especially because I got my first home computer ever this Spring, everything is new and exciting computer wise. I've learned to find a healthier balance.

There's something about it isn't there?

That Schumann piano delivery saga thread was a good example of whatever it is.

Most days I check a few times, some days more, some less. I work at a computer, and this has kind of worked it's way into the list of things I check throughout the day. There might be 50 or 100 other things on the list, most are work related. On busy days I may not look here at all.

It's kind of like a pilot of a large jet, there are a few primary instruments that are scanned constantly and a long list of less critical items that get attention as conditions dictate.

Well... i haven't been on here in a long time!

I used to maybe check 20-30 times a months when i first joined (like you LW - now i'm hooked on TNCR. ;\) )

Now it's more like once every 3 or 4 months!
