Awesome! I love his music. I know the Final Fantasy X theme, "To Zanarkand" or whatever. His music is great.

I'm actually practicing "You're not Alone" from the Final Fantasy piano collections. There are some really good arrangements from there.

I think your site need some organization.
I can see you have a large selection of songs to listen to, but it is presented as a huge list of random song titles. Far as I can tell there is no order whatsoever.
Song titles are not that useful when it comes to videogame music. Most of the time the songs do not have titles in the game itself, and are only added later when a sound track is released. It is more important that the songs are grouped by the game they are in.
Otherwise it's a nice selection. Questionable legality, but somehow that does not bother me.

Oh, I just LOVE his music. I play it a bit. I like the ending theme and To Zanarkand.

He is the BEST composer ever! I have a lot of Final Fantasy sheet music. It sounds great! Well..I think that might be taking it just a BIT too far lol. He is a fantastic composer though. I haven't been able to play too many of the FF games, though I've heard the music from them. When it comes to Video Game composers, my favorite has to be Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger)

Uematsu has a very well-defined voice and has a big influence on my own compositions (people have said so!). I keep playing Final Fantasy VIII again and again because I simply love the music (the story's alright, the gameplay is dire!) From that series, the Balamb Garden theme is one of my favourite themes.

Fans should also check out the old Final Fantasy games part 4, 5 & 6 on Super Nintendo. You can play them with an emulator. (FF4 is also known as FF2 and FF6 is also known as FF3)
Those were the glory days of the game series as well as the music IMO. Final Fantasy 6 (3) is an incredible game.

Yup, one of the best non-classical composers around. I have all of the Final Fantasy Piano Collections books, and I've studied a few pieces, like "To Zanarkand" and "Eyes on Me".
He's definitely one of my favourites.

I'm obsessed with one of his works, "Tatakau Monotachi/Those who fight". It's definitely up there in my 'one day I'm gonna play this list.' A constant source of inspiration Nobuo Uematsu is one talented guy.
