Hilarious, but i doubt any guy would ever admit to having found he has a female brain!

I think we should hijack the pianists corner and tell everyone to come here!

If not we'll just keep telling everyone about this place until they get so fed up they reply here just to shut us up. It's a win - win situation!

Well...
My score is 0. My brain must be asexual.

Hmmm... I sit exactly at 0, in between female and male. Oh well, when I was in my late teens, a good male friend said I was neuter!

Part 1• Angles My score: 17 out of 20 Men[/b] score: 15.1 out of 20 Women score: 13.3 out of 20 You found this test neither hard nor easy. This suggests your brain has male and female traits when it comes to spatial ability. • Spot the Difference My score: 36% Men[/b] score: 39% Women score: 46% You may have a balanced female-male brain. Part 2• Hands Left thumb on top This suggests the right half of your brain is dominant. Some studies theorise that as a right brain dominant person, you may excel in visual, spatial and intuitive processes. Right-brained people may be better fighters and artists. Part 3• Emotions and Systems My empathy score: 9 out of 20 Men empathy score: 7.9 out of 20 Women[/b] empathy score: 10.6 out of 20 My systemizing score: 10 out of 20 Men systemizing score: 12.5 out of 20 Women[/b] sympathizing score: 8.0 out of 20 • Eyes My score: 7 out of 10 Men[/b] score: 6.6 out of 10 Women[/b] score: 6.6 out of 10 Your result suggests you are a good empathiser, sensitive to other people's emotions. Women generally fall into this category. Part 4• Fingers Right Hand: 0.97 Left Hand: 0.98 Men ratio[/b]: .982 Women ratio: .991 Men generally have a ring finger that is longer than their index finger, which gives them a lower ratio than women, whose ring and index fingers are usually of equal length. Part 5My choices suggest I prefer more feminine faces A typical 'attractive' female face possesses features such as a shorter, narrower, lower jaw, fuller lips and larger eyes than an average face. Part 6• 3D Shapes My score: 9 out of 12 Men[/b] score: 8.2 out of 12 Women score: 7.1 out of 12 In past studies, 50 per cent of the people who scored in this range were women and 50 per cent were men. • Words My score: 11 words for grey and 16 words for happy Men score: 11.4 words total Women[/b] score: 12.4 words total Most people in this range have a female-type brain. Women are said to use both sides of the brain when doing verbal tasks while men mainly use their left side. Studies have shown that girls develop vocabulary faster than boys. This difference in brain power is caused by levels of pre-natal testosterone. • Ultimatum If you had to split £50 with someone, you said you would demand £20 So far on the Sex ID test, men have demanded 51.6% (£25.80) of the pot and women have demanded 51.0% (£25.50), on average. Sex differences are small in this task. Demanding less than 60% of the pot (ie £30) is more typically female. Demanding more than 65% of the pot (ie £32.50) is more typically male. Scientists believe that people with lower testosterone levels tend to take fewer risks so they are probably more willing to keep less for themselves. Those with higher testosterone levels tend to drive a harder bargain and are less compromising.

I got that too. I got 50% male when i am infact female. Maybe we should combine are scores and say that on average we are both neutral...

The ultimatum bit seems a fishy way to test male/female traits. I chose £25 because I think that is fair. Surely this has more to do with one's moral code and sense of justice.
The word thing was weird to me. I scored lower than average because I was trying hard to be accurate!

In retrospect, the word thing really wasn't so hard. Just list items that are gray:
Clouds, elephants, steel, aluminum, tin, foil, rocks, grease, metal, hair...
List items that are synonymous with happy, or that would characterize someone that is happy:
Joyful, proud, laughing, elated, joking, smile, grin, guffaw, merry...

[/b] It really seemed strange to me that the test actually indicated that results vary considerably with this particular part. I am probably way too narrow-minded about it, and not thinking broadly in other words, but...I really can't imagine why somebody would choose anything besides £25. It really doesn't make sense. But I'm probably missing something.

I said I'd take £20 and offer the other guy 30. I'd be perfectly happy with an extra $36 (£20), and I certainly wouldn't want the other person to be greedy and turn away a 50-50. Afterall, $36 is much better than nothing at all!

[/b] That's an interesting perspective Sam, thanks for sharing it with us. I was on my way toward agreeing with Roxane that it was only fair, because I too picked 25. And, Princess, I geuss there are a few guys who would admit to it. After all, there's nothing wrong with haveing a female brain. And somebody please take the other tests I posted, they're really cool too!

I'm with Goldberg. I did 50/50. I to think that this has to do more with upbringing than gender.
I was able to come up with 6 words for grey, and 7 for happy, mostly because I was trying to be accurate. Under the time pressure, my brains went mushy.
The spatial test proved I am male. No problems with that as I've always had a good mind for fitting things in areas.
The finger test, I don't know... I think it's just genetics because everyone in my family, except my dad, have long fingers. This includes my brother and my two sisters, me new born nephew, and I.
Eyes, I too got 4/10.
The digital photo test was weird, and i really couldn't tell much of a difference, though I chose feminine.
My left hand goes over the right.
Same with Paganini - 21% to me there were too many objects to tell where they went. That's hard to remember.
The first angle test, I got 17/20. This I think is related to spatial senses.
Definitely Male.
John

50% female! Which is accurate, I guess, because that's what I am...and my right thumb goes over the left.
