My Mom used to say "Age before beauty." I think she was saying "Be polite to your elders." I'm not really sure. Maybe she was saying "Age and wisdom counts for something, beauty is elusive, temporary, and too big of a pursuit." She's no longer alive, so I can't ask her.

As far as my age, 36, would be very dyslexic of me.

I've been 39 for 25 years and four of my children are 40 or older, with the youngest, being 38 this past birthday which makes almost all of them older than me. It's time for me to come up with a new "story", let's see, it has to be "Ive been 25 for 39 years" so I can say my children are my siblings and I'm the youngest one.

Of course, this is my private little joke, I don't try to pass it onto other people! My 38 year old daughter was "carded" last week while out with her husband - now she looks very young.
It was at age 39 I started all this juggling with my age.
