I want to be shot into outer space so that an advanced alien race will find my body and use their superior technology to bring me back to life.

I was asked just this sort of question by a relative over Thanksgiving..."Where do you think you go when you die?" I told her "compost" much to her dismay...

My father-in-law EVER the procrastinator still has his mother in a jar in the garage some 15+ years later....sigh...

My grandmother (my soulmate) was cremated when I was 5 and the urn buried in the back yard of our beloved family summer home in CT.. When the house was put up for sale to support her husband in a nursing home...we dug...and dug...and dug...trying to find it...Finally my Mom and her sister tactfully asked questions of my Grandfather to find out the location...trees grow, ya know....

But even now the owners of the house say "Hello Mrs. ******!" when a wind blows a door open. They feel she still lives there, though her ashes were moved... \:\)

I want to be buried and have people someone play Beethoven's Waldstein and Debussy's Pour le Piano at my funeral. And have food for everyone to eat.

I might change my mind in a few decades, though.

I want a concert as my funeral - playing various songs & pieces, ending with Coldplay's 'Amsterdam'.
My friend Holly, however, likes Buddhist monks and wants many of them at her funeral, chanting 'Holly is Dead. Holly is Dead.' It is up to me to tell her parents..
