To Whom It May Concern:

This topic has been established for the sole purpose of enabling me (John Frank, and others as authorized) to upload select recorded music files to be used as samples of pieces from the Method Books in the three on-going Alfred Basic Adult topics in the Adult Beginner's Forum. They are intended to be copied to the O.P. in the respective Alfred threads.

You are welcome to listen, of course, but please refrain from posting to this thread. Thanks.

Regards,

JF

Mark - here is the next song upload - it's from Book 2 also:

Light and Blue (Book Version)

I call this the "Book Version" because it's played exactly as arranged in the Book. I do this to distinguish it from a modified, "embellished" version I uploaded to the April Piano Bar.

Thanks, John

Three more pieces from Book 2:

Festive Dance

Divertimento in D (with repeat)

Sakura (Cherry Blossoms)

Mark - I can do more, but I don't want to monopolize the sample pieces in the O.P. Let me know if you would like to have them. Thanks, John

Mark - yet another piece from 2:

Pomp and Circumstance

Regards, JF

My rather crude buddy refers to this as "Pomp and Circumcision" - I've been trying to get him to clean up his act for years.

Mark - here's the latest from Book 2 - maybe my last, unless I can get a good recording eventually of the Canon in D, which while not out of the realm of possibility, seems a little challenging at this point (about half way to "mastering" it right now) - then on to Book 3

Danny Boy
