Okay everyone I think I've found a solution to the up and coming dispute over what can and can't be talked about.
In order to keep the people who want to keep this a non-political/light topic place I suggest the following:
Include a joke at the end of every post!

E.g. I read today that our President has decreed that yardy, yardy, yardy a load of stuff I don't understand not being an American.....................

Btw, my Mother in law went to the doctors the other day........

\:\) Yes? No?

I don't remember a ground rule that said no political posts... just no mean, creepy name-calling political posts.

How can you tell the trumpet player's kids on the playground?

They don't know how to use the slide and they can't swing.

(Yep, this could work. \:\) )
