I just learned about something that will get me off the hook with certain nieces and nephews who want an Ipod and nothing but an Ipod for a gift. 'Cause I'm not buying an Ipod. Their parents can buy them an Ipod.

You pick a Nike product, choose your colors and other features you'd like, personalize it, and then Nike sends it to you. Or you give the Sullen Teen a gift card, and they can design their own.

I was playing around with the features, and I was able to design a nice large messenger bag for $70. They also had watches and shoes and things.

Anyone else know any good places for gifts for Difficult Gift Recipients?

Give them gift certificates from Apple for music dowloads into IPods.

Amazon gift certificates are some of the best, I think. Rarely is there something that a teenager--like myself--would want that can't be found on amazon.com
