Did anybody see this last night? I don't usually watch reality shows, but this one was a HOOT. A bunch of wannabe fashion designers (who were just a stitch to watch - such characters) with fashion design challenges. In the first one, they have a day to make an evening gown, and they are given $50 and turned loose in a GROCERY STORE for materials. It was fascinating. The guy who won used corn husks.  Jodi

Yes, I saw it. The sniping was hysterical! The attitudes, the "styles," the whole thing was completely entertaining.
HOW do those models learn to walk that way? They look like they are walking on hot tar.

Actually, the corn husk dress looked pretty awesome right after he finished it (before it dried up) They gave him major points for creative use of materials. I was SO glad the stupid garbagebagbutcherpaper guy got eliminated. What a weenie. I was also quite impressed with the dress that that was made out of nylon stockings. My favorite designer is the corn husk guy - something Scarlett - what a hoot. His hairdo and makeup looks like it belongs on a 50's TV housewife. And they kept showing him with that deer in the headlights look. Cracked me up every time. Can't wait til next week! Jodi
