Ah, Larson, my old favorite.

He seemed to like using a "professor Feldman" whenever he needed an egghead. I think a "professor Feldman" figured in at least three of his panels. Naturally, they got plastered on my office door. Heck, I still have one there. It shows a bewildered balding professor sitting with three cave people. The caption is, "Professor Feldman, traveling back in time, gradually succumbs to the early stages of non-culture shock."
