We called it "Drop the Needle" (back in the LP days, of course) and you had to guess the composer and piece from the first chord or two, or 2-4 melody notes. Pretty tough. We also played "Opus Quiz," where one person would call out a composer's name and opus number, and the first person to name the piece was the winner.
