Glad press and seal wrap
hybrid cars
and of course...Piano World! \:\)

The real father of the internet

I met Vint a few years back working on a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) project. He is one of the smartest people I've ever met.

Other great things:

Carbide blades on tools. (they stay sharp, helping me keep fingers)

Relational databases (This has had a profound effect on keeping large amounts of information and being able to search & retrieve effectively.)

Interstate Highway System. (profound economic benefits over the long range)

Ok, about 5 years(!) BEFORE there was a Grey's Papaya (home of the payaya drink and 50 cent hot dogs) on 8th Street and 6th av in the Village, I thought it would be a good idea to have one there. 5 YEARS EARLIER!

Oh yeah?? We had a friend who owned a sub shop (sandwich shop, hoagie shop, grinder shop, depending on your region) in 1984, right off campus at Arizona State Uni. We told him he should really open a small coffee and pastry shop where you could get a really good cup of coffee, cappuccino, latte, etc. THREE YEARS LATER, have you ever heard of Starbuck's? No, he didn't take our advice, and Starbuck's is slowly (actually, quite rapidly) taking over the universe.

I coulda been a contendah!
