In the Dec. 4, 2006 issue of The New Yorker magazine in an article on Hungarian composer Gyorgy Kurtag, "The Kurtags played on what was described as a 'piano con supersordino'-an upright piano whose mute pedal has been permanently depressed." Well duh! I'm sure this will be news to Yamaha.

In the same issue on the back page is a cartoon of a CEO-type playing a grand piano in a conference room setting. The piano appears to be about the size of one of Challen's 11-foot monsters.

In the TIAA/CREF tv commercial, what make of grand piano is the white-haired gent tuning on stage? The setting should make it simple to guess.
