My friend Carol is giving a concert at Faust Harrison again on Sat., Sept. 6. She's a jazz pianist and will be improvising with a violin player. Admission is $10, general seating, no reservations. I'll be there if anyone wants to meet up.

Linda in PA, the feeling is mutual. It was wonderful to meet you and your father--he's a dear man. And you're a lovely person. Your recent loss must be very difficult. He must be feeling a bit lost I imagine since he told me he and your mother had been married for 56 years? I'm speechless. I hope the trip was good for him.

I'm glad you enjoyed the concert, Carol has made tremendous strides with her voice since I last heard her and the violinist!! Isn't she something! Whew! I still want someone like her to serenade me in the morning shortly after I've got up from bed. Can you imagine what that would be like--live violin music to have breakfast by! HaHaHa.
