I am working on getting a group together from PW to attend a concert performance by Indrek Laul of Estonia Pianos on Feb 11, 8pm at Babson College. He is performing on a new Art Case Estonia that will be shipped in just after it is presented at NAMM.

The orchestra that Indrek is playing with consists of very talented amateurs, much like many of the folks here on PW!

If you are interested in attending, please pm me so that I can get an idea of how many folks might come. I hope to get group pricing on tickets with enough attendees and we may have a venue for a gathering either before or after the performance so that we can chat with each other and perhaps Indrek.

I'm going to try to make it. Judging by past trips, probably will be just one of me (that way I can sneak off to Zimmans).

BTW, we just LOVE our 190 - it sounds as emotional as it did the day we fell in love with it.

Art case Estonia? Tell me more.

I'm following the thread, at this point and am trying to see about putting something together.

We have a load of people coming over tomorrow, 12/10, for my parents 50th anniversary and its been all-consuming.

We are about 5 miles from Babson, maybe. It surprised me to think Estonia and Babson because they are much more of a business school than anything else.

The New Philharmonia called me yesterday and they are honoring group pricing for us of $20. Sometime next week they will let me know of the ticket code that you will use to buy your seats on their website. I will email all with the code just as soon as I get it.

The agent's remark was priceless. She thought that arranging for tickets thru their website would make the most sense for an internet group like us!

So when exactly is anyone going to tell me more about an art case Estonia?

Pete all I know is what Indrek Laul told me a few weeks ago. He is having a fancy case concert piano made to be shown at NAMM in LA. It will then be loaded onto a truck to be shipped here for the concert with little time to spare!

We are looking forward to seeing and hearing it!

Happy new year! I can make it and would like to invite all, assuming plans in another pre-concert direction aren't too far along. We are 5 miles from Babson.

The Holidays are what they were and it was hard to get this going sooner. Bee, let me know how it sounds to you. I haven't got tickets, or a babysitter yet, so I am ready to comit to one additional. I'm thinking about a BYO wine & cheese kind of thing, as usual. We'll have some stuff on hand. Concert is at 8PM. How does a 5:30-6:00 start sound?

I promise the piano (that other brand ) will be tuned and ready.

If so, no problem if the ticket block that you purchased is not available...I could get something separate and join the group at Chris's for the get together.
