pique, I would imagine it will take more than 2 hours. I took it on an weekend when no one was working and it was that long...We did have a wonderful guide, an older retired M+H worker who so loved the place.
Then there's lunch, chatting, transport to trains etc.
Anyone need rides from train or hotel? PM me.

Hmm, for those of us who are traveling from a distance, a 9:00 AM start time could be problematic. I thought some earlier plan was for an early-afternoon tour.
I think a few of us who are within a few hours' drive or train ride were thinking of using the morning hours to get up to Haverill and then coming back the same day, saving us the hotel room cost. Does this ring a bell with anyone else?

If it's going to be at 9am, you can count me in for a hotel room, Frank. I'll travel up on Sunday and stay the night.

Since the tour must start at 9:00 AM, please count me among those interested in the discounted hotel.

Wanted to let everyone know, I spoke to Cecil today... The rooms we requested are blocked out for us. Although some of the hotel employees may not be aware, Cecil made the arrangements directly with the GM of the hotel. The rate is $65.00 per night. More details to follow. BTW, if you are on the list to attend, and haven't sent me your forums name and real name, please do it today![/b] (even if you aren't booking a room) If you are bringing a guest, please send me their name too. Let me know where you are from too (State). Also See: Missing Names & Other Stuff -- M&H Tour!
