I've been thinking about having a get together in my home early October (maybe the first or second weekend). I figured if I didn't get the idea out there October will have come and gone and we'll be into the hectic holiday season. I mentioned this to Dan at his get together, since we had to come so much later and I know I didn't a chance hear everyone play and also really would like to get a chance to meet other fellow forum members, as well as see those again that I got to meet.
So what do you think anyone interested? The invitation is open to any and all in the area or that will be in the area. Once I hear back from some folks I'll firm up the date. We are in Highlands Ranch so any south metro folks that didn't get to come up north for Dan's party this will be closer for you. Dan, Ryan, KB, Manitou, Janine and anyone else in the area I've missed shoot me an email or post here and let me know which weekend works best for you.
Dan I know I don't see some of the names I'm forgetting posting as much anymore so maybe if you have email addresses for people that would be interested in attending you could let me know? BTW how was your wonderful vacation to Austria?

Cathy,
I of course would love to attend your get together. Hopefully your piano will have a fresh tuning on it! *wink*
I may be traveling to a friend's wedding in October, and without my calender here, I'm not sure which weekend it is. I will try to figure it out and get back to you though.

Thanks to all for the responses!! KB do you get to go anywhere fun for the wedding? Just let me know when you're going; so far everyone is pretty flexible with the weekends. I'll keep everyone posted as we get details firmed up.

Hi Cathy and all,
Sorry for my lack of response. I've been swamped at work lately.
Anyway, for me the first weekend in October is not doable as I'll be out of town. And the 2nd weekend is pretty questionable as well. I'd certainly enjoy attending, but it looks like late October or early November are better dates for me.
I'll keep watching this space and will try to make arrangements to get to whatever time works for everyone else.
Regards, Dan

Dan, Sorry to hear your swamped (I know the feeling) I've only had the chance to check in occasionally. Our fiscal year ends September so this is always a hectic time of year for me Anyway you're not the only one with conflicts on the first weekend so that one is definitely out. It's looks like it will either be the 2nd or 3rd weekend. I'll keep you posted. Cathy

Cathy, I'm traveling to that wedding over the weekend of the 9th. Obviously that weekend is out for me, but another would be fine. Don't alter plans on my part though... I'd rather not be the one who is responsible for the party changing to another weekend! Hope all is well.. PS. Nowhere too fun ... Connecticut (blech!) But I'm going there with my Girlfriend, so it will be a fun trip anyway. Hope to see you all soon KlavierBauer

Greetings, Just went browsing on pianoworld and look what I found I'd more than happy to evaluate someone's tuning work *grin*, I mean to come a listen to others play **grin** My weekends are usually pretty empty, so pick a date and I'll try to show up. Manitou.

I kinda of got backlogged at work and then went out of town and dug my hole deeper so this is the first chance I've had to visit back in about 2 weeks. Well obviously the first weekend is out and it sounds like later in the month was better for most so I'm planning on Sunday afternoon Oct 19th say 2:30 or 3:00pm or whenever. I hope everyone will be able to attend I'll shoot out an email with directions so if I don't already have your email address be sure to shoot me an email.
Looking forward to it!!!
