Hi BeeLady,

Need directions.

Tentatively accepting, I'd like to spend some time with our members without headsets on:-)

I might even try playing at the Open Recital, if a non-classical performance wouldn't upset things too much.

Come on New England members, we are WAY behind the forum members from other parts of the country (particularly the west coast)!

Got them, thanks.

At this point I plan on coming, could use
a lead on hotels in the area in case I decide to stay over.

Frank, a hotel list and numbers has been emailed.

Anyone else need directions, hotels etc? PM me with any questions.

Everyone is welcome, so far we have about a dozen folks. But we could use more! Bring a friend, spouse, piano teacher etc!

The more the merrier, and more potential PW members for the forums! \:D

I did, indeed, Jeremy and sent off directions to your email address.

Did I miss anyone? And I guess it is getting close enough to start deciding on pot luck dishes... What is everyone bringing? I could use a few ideas myself!

Found this website on a google search and thought I would post it here for those of us who are not quite sure of what to bring and maybe just need some inspiration.

http://www.recipezaar.com/r/398/154

Beelady, would it be easier to stay away from foods that would require heating? I was looking at the chicken/artichoke casserole recipe but thought maybe a parsley potato salad (no eggs)& some shrimp would simplify the need for having to keep anything warm. What do you think???

Bump!
One week to the New England Piano Party! [/b]

Frank and A441, come rock with us -- would be really nice to throw in some Jazz, Blue, Rock, etc. to the Party (and to the Recital too, if you like). \:D

Ax, did you see that I signed on Peter for the recital? He'd like to do 2 of the posthumous Chopin nocturnes as a direct challenge to your notion that they're boring ;\) (at least he thinks it was you). Anyway, hope you can squeeze him in. He does a bang up job on them.

Ax, did I send you directions? Are you bringing your new bride? We would all love to meet her.

Who is bringing main dishes and who is doing desserts? \:D I will have drinks, munchies and one main dish I think...

As of now, I'm still planning on coming, will bring some dessert.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.
If you attended the M&H tour, please bring your name tag.

I may also have a little gift for the forum members in attendance (so take that West Coasters) ;-)

Bob... both you and your humor will be missed at this gathering!

Have you checked any of the airlines for last minute discount rates to BOS or MHT???!!
You still have time to book that flight!!!! \:D

This gathering would probably be a good opportunity for me to "downsize" my inventory of plastic sleeves!! \:D
