BeeLady, you are so kind. I'll be in touch if I decide I can make it. Thanks.

I can't answer on the age related question. Axtremus and Larry Buck will hopefully make it back to this thread sometime soon. Is there an age-related question that I should answer buy missed?

Please post a response if you plan to attend. I've marked these events on my calendar and hope to attend. Sounds like good fun. And thank you Terry for the heads up.
Love that #11!

A441,
Haven't had time to get into improv as much as I'd like. I've had to settle for printing off another Chopin prelude and plodding in that direction. There is a teacher who plays jazz at the Hawthorne, in Salem, who I would like to start with. Hmmm, since you mention your age, there is a small chance you would know her. Her name is Judy (don't know last name) and she has a trombone playing husband. I mention it because both have been active in Boston ensembles playing swing and Real book tunes. I bet that genre has been a small world, even for Boston, for decades at this point. I used to play saxophone in a NYS swing band 23 years ago, well before moving here.
I guess we'll see on the kids issue. They can keep my piano time to 1hr a week, but they may not be able to keep me away on 4/30!

Attention!! Attention!! Name Tag Alert!!!
If you plan to be in attendance, please consider ownership of your very own personalized PW name tag.
The PW name tag is a business size card that will be laminated to ensure many years of use! It has a small metal clip that will attach securely to your clothing without causing any damage to you or your clothing. It is comprised of your: 1)screen name 2)avatar (if you claim ownership to one) 3)name you desire to be addressed by others 4)state of residence
Those of us who attended the M&H tour last spring should (hopefully) still have their original name tags. As of right now, there have not been any punishment guidelines set in place for members who have “lost” their tags! I advise you to come forward immediately in your most humble writing manner to request a replacement.
For those of you who plan to attend and do not already have a name tag, please PM me your info.
If you would like to provide an address, I will mail the name tag to you; otherwise, you may claim your identity at the gathering!

Lee, thank you for the info. I found a link for your avatar and was able to get a clear print so I included it on the name tag.
I will laminate it at work and mail it off to you on Monday.
